Project Summary

Midnight Sun Bodyworks is a privately-owned massage studio specializing in cultivating a personalized rejuvenating experience for both mind and body. Co-owner Courtney uses her extensive knowledge of the human body to custom tailor a care plan for the unique needs of each client.

Our goal for the massage room was to create a calm, soothing environment that made clients feel welcomed into the space, while also maintaining the brand’s fun and whimsical personality. Courtney loves plants and nature, so we started building a design from there. Leaves from her beloved monstera plant are prominently featured in the piece, and little mushroom creatures inspired by the design on her favorite blanket are hidden throughout. We used the existing off-white and dark green colors already in the room as the basis for our color palette, adding an additional lighter green shade to round things out. One wall already had a set of shelves mounted on it, so we used to that as a focal point to build around. The final piece is the perfect complement to Courtney’s calm and compassionate personality, and provides clients with a memorable visual identity that they love to share pictures of on social media!
